We are Josiah & Jennifer Huber. I (Josiah) am the son of Project AmaZon (PAZ) founders Luke and Christine Huber. I was born and raised on the mission field in Santarém, Brazil, until age 16, when I moved to the United States to complete school. I received an Associate of Arts Degree in Ministry in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where I met the love of my life, Jennifer. She grew up in New Orleans with her parents Joe and Kay Ringenberg. We got married on June 14, 2003 and moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where I finished my Bachelor’s Degree at Oral Roberts University (ORU). Then, in April 2005, we officially joined PAZ and soon after moved to Santarém.

Josiah & Jennifer Huber
We’ve been serving on the mission field in Brazil for a little over three years now, and have had an amazing time working with cell groups and raising up leaders in Santarém. Now we’re entering a new phase of ministry. We’ve moved to the small river community of Iruçanga to plant new churches and supervise existing works along the Tapajós River and in some inland jungle communities. In addition, we’re also focusing on planning and supervising evangelistic events, small groups, church growth and church construction in the communities. Finally, we’ll be facilitating and encouraging the work of the supervisors under our covering in the area as well.
In case you couldn’t tell, we are absolutely loving the exciting adventure of living out God’s calling for our lives in the Amazon – and we want to share it with you! Take a moment to send us a note to say hello. We’d love to hear from you!
Finally – if God lays it on your heart to partner with us, please click on the DONATE icon to visit the PAZ website. From there you can share a tax-deductible gift of support, learn more about our evangelistic work and even get more information about how you can get involved by personally serving God with Project AmaZon.
